ABOUT US
Play Makes Sense is a hands-on interactive class for children to play and socialize, all while learning and developing skills. Our technique is to engage children through a variety of sensory-based materials.
The Play Make Sense Difference
Each class that is offered targets a specific theme, skill set and age range. We begin our class with circle time which includes a story and song. After, children will be introduced to the thematic sensory bins, learn about the materials inside and how to use them correctly. They will practice their social and language skills, strengthen their fine motor skills, while further developing their knowledge on the topic. The teacher will be there to facilitate play and learning.

Play Makes Sense Founder
My name is Michelle Dansky and I am one of the founders of Play Makes Sense. I taught elementary school for 7 years and I am certified in grades K-6. It was during the pandemic that I started creating sensory bins for my two children, and I noticed how much time they would spend playing with the bins! I decided that I would put my interest of teaching and sensory play together and Play Makes Sense was born!
